vehicle; who likes hands-on work with medical equipment such as
cleaning, quality control checks and preventative maintenance; who is
open to both set schedules and the responsibility of shared on-call.
Overall, the position of Medical Equipment Delivery Driver/Technician
is truly a “jack of all trades” who is at the heart of Sizewise service.Key Areas of Responsibility* - Provide superior customer service: both internally and externally - Perform medical equipment maintenance, delivery/pick-up and in-servicing to health care professionals - Process equipment: cleaning/sterilization phase, quality control checks, necessary maintenance and delivery preparation - Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 service - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Communicate clearly and work well in a team environment with common vision and goals - Utilize technology for up-to-date record keeping - Operate and maintain service records for Sizewise delivery vehicles - Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA and compliance/regulatory guidelines as applicable, as well as all Sizewise policies and procedures *We will train! | Skills / Industry Qualifications Required: | Qualifications - Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to drive at night - Must have clean background check (no priors) - Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, to push 450 lbs. of medical equipment (on wheels) up ramps, to unload/load equipment onto trucks daily, to stand/kneel/squat for extended periods of time during equipment processing - Ability to use a computer for basic administrative tasks and online training - Ability to communicate effectively Education: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) OR - One to three months related experience and/or training OR - Equivalent combination of education/experience Previous experience with driving/delivery, mechanical/hands-on and/or the medical industry is a plus! |
