Job Description
Attention Fiction Writers!!! Write On Press is hiring contract writers of short fiction. If you would like to get paid for your short stories, see them published, promoted and distributed internationally AND retain your authors’ credit for every approved submission, then please send us an interest letter (or resume) and a writing sample of 1,000 to 1,500 words. Your interest letter should indicate your desire to write, be published and the direction you want your writing career to take. Your writing sample should show your talent in creating engaging works of short fiction that quickly captures the attention and imagination of the reader. Your sample will need to show your skill in characterization, conflict, story and setting development as well as your ability to create a resolution that is satisfying to readers. Applications will be taken throughout the month of January and applicants will receive decisions beginning January 11th, 2013. All approved writing samples will be eligible for publication, promotion and global distribution via Write On Press’ Min-e-Book program. This is a contract position, open to all qualified applicants within the U.S. only. All new hires must be willing to telecommute. Start your career as a published author!
