In this role, you will perform set-ups, tool changes, offsets, and run production on various CNC and non-CNC machines. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities to include reduction of setup times and improvement in quality and throughput utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques. You will also perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
In addition, you will:

  • Be able to work from layouts and dimensions on drawings and read manual gauges
  • Load, align, and set up machine per drawing instructions and maintain quality production records
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in set up and operations of grind, lathes, milling equipment, etc. or a graduate of any recognized machinist or toolmaker certification program
    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift
  • Have the ability to read blueprints and have proficient knowledge of machining methods and precision measuring tools
  • Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control and CNC controls
  • Ability and willingness to work in a high performance, work team environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Must successfully complete a mechanical skills assessment
