Management Business Solutions TITLE OF POSITION:   Industrial Engineer LOCATION: Sterling Heights, MI APPLY: or (You can apply or contact us using the Apply Online Box below) SUMMARY: This Industrial Engineer will use lean manufacturing and analysis to reduce product cost and increase capacity with the goal of increasing revenues with existing assets. This individual will also be responsible for reducing transaction and process time for tasks to meet customer requirements, as well as effectively supporting the planning of new technology tools and new equipment acquisitions for manufacturing plants and distribution centers across North America. This position requires approximately 35% travel time, primarily in North America. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Update/develop consistent standard costs for each product and machine across North American operations Conduct time/delay studies on machines and operators Participate in the annual budgeting process Assist in development of plant operational metrics (i.e., OEE, OT tracking vs. budget, etc.) Create, implement and/or assist in Lean Manufacturing techniques Required Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Three to five years engineering experience Proficient in time/delay studies Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office software Experience in preparing detailed cost benefit analysis reports to support project requests Experience in preparing process FMEAs Experience in project planning, CAD and tool design Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques

Skills / Industry Qualifications Required:	Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Fastener industry experience Experience in plant layout and facilities planning Advanced training and experience in operations research including the ability to analyze and solve mathematical models using mathematical programming, stochastic processes and computer simulations or experience with process technologies and designing and implementing process improvements Knowledge of fastener manufacturing equipment and processes Experience dealing with outside equipment suppliers Experience preparing documentation and training materials MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
