When there is a job in Pakistan opening then hiring managers’ gets hundreds and hundreds of resume and it’s like their daily routine to read these resumes. There is nothing new in it and they read the same old phrases and keywords again and again,so these over used and common words do not get their attention anymore.
If you want to stand out and make a mark as a right candidate in the eyes of employers then you should avoid these common phrases This will increase your chances to get jobs in Lahoreand jobs in Faisalabad.
Flexible- there is no need to bragging about your flexibility unless you are going to apply for a circus job. Things have changed with the advancement and with changing times this quality is almost the basic necessity now. On every job this is like a routine and if you want to be successful then flexible is a must have and must needed quality.
Highly qualified- it’s good that you have degree and as you say yourself that you are highly qualified. But don’t need to mention it on your resume and let the employers decide about this. Always remember that it is always best to show then tell so let’s your accomplishments and achievements do all the talking. So rather bragging about your high education, mention how you can be beneficial for the company and how you can increase their sales and decrease their problems.
Innovative- there is no need to say that you are innovative as I have already said that you need to prove it. If you have achieved something great or your ideas have helped to earn the company millions then do mention that, as this will increase your credibility.
Effective- Don’t waste your time saying that you are effective. Let’s see how you are effective. Don’t waste your time and overuse these meaningless words, rather divert your employers’ attention towards something really important and meaningful.
People Person- there is no need to highlight this feature as people person and also team player is often used as a quality but companies did not see it that way, because if they are hiring you then they already believe that you are human of course, and you can work very well together with other people. So there is no need to say it out loud, rather tell about team projects which you have managed and done successfully.
Responsible- it makes no sense to mention on resume that you are responsible and reliable because it will be one of your duties and it is required from you that at least you reach your office at time. It is something that is expected from you. So don’t mention these non extraordinary things in your jobs in Pakistan resume.
Problem Solver- it is a great skill but seriously everyone has this on their resume, so what’s more important is how you have solved problems.
Expert- this is the worst of all people claiming that they are expert is I guess making fool of themselves. No hard feelings but let the employer decide how expert and great you are rather than bragging about it.
