IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION SUPERVISOR BERLIN HIGH SCHOOL

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Supervise and monitor schoolwork and attendance for students assigned to the In-School Suspension (ISS) classroom. Communicate ISS expectations daily, providing instructional assistance as appropriate. Ensure that students are furnished with work assignments from teachers in advance, and liaise as needed with the assistant principals, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, and parents to help ensure that ISS time is served productively and successfully. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Associate's degree preferred; proficiency with multiple computer operating systems and devices; experience in working with high school age children and in preventing and appropriately managing behaviors that are potentially disruptive.

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Position to begin on or about January 14, 2013. Hourly rate ranging from $20.00 to $29.27.
