To lead Loss Prevention for assigned units in accordance with approved company policies and procedures and supports our mission of being America’s Favorite Store.

Responsibilities:

·Ability to develop and grow the team by actively walking the floor, coaching, observing strengths and opportunities.

·Oversees shrinkage and safety awareness programs. Tailors company LP direction to their particular store, creates new ways to educate and motivate store teams to focus on shrinkage reduction and safety.

·Protects Merchandise by conducting periodic audits in departments and walks the sales floor to identify merchandise protection opportunities that deviate from company standards.

· Accountable for record maintenance by reviewing all LP documentation to ensure records are complete and accurate and adherent to record retention policies of the company.

·Attends court hearings as required, updates appropriate files with court-related outcomes and maintains relationship with local law enforcement.

· Provides leadership on safety; coaches store team members (TM’s) on keeping work areas and sales floor free of hazards, performs post incident investigations, analyzes incident trends, and advises store leadership of action steps that can be used to prevent future incidents.

·Handles Internal Investigation; observes internal activity, performs random bag checks, reviews stockrooms for staged merchandise, exception reports, and ISS referrals. Investigates and interviews suspicious team members, documents behavior, and installs cameras.

· Performs Operational & Safety Assessments regularly by reviewing operational practices & safety programs to ensure adherence to company policies.

· Supports ORC Investigations, collects evidence, communicates with Market Investigators (MI) and partners with other retailers to identify ORC groups and patterns. Takes direction from DLPL and/or MI to gather evidence on ORC and external fraud.

·Two plus years’ experience in retail loss prevention.

·Bachelor’s degree from nationally recognized institution is preferred.

·Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

·Some travel is required.
