Organisation Description

Our client is a large transport leading company that are rapidly growing within their Finance department.

Job Description

To ensure all invoices from UK Suppliers are processed in a timely and prompt manner. To refer any queries on Price\Qty to Purchasing and ensure a swift resolution
To work with the Purchase Ledger Team Lead, to facilitate on-line supplier payments, to assist in the transition from mainly Cheque payments to Electronic Payments.
To write out manual cheques for authorised payments, and to complete remittance advices to accompany the cheque from within the Purchase Ledger system.
To identify any duplicate Customer Accounts, to “block” duplicate accounts in line with company guidelines.
To cover for any other member(s) of the finance staff, as required to ensure appropriate and adequate cover so that all daily tasks are completed.
