Olive Ave.  Ste 134, Glendale, AZ The Department of Weights & Measures plays a critical role in Arizona's marketplace by protecting consumers and retailers from unfair business practices. They are currently looking for an INVESTIGATOR to join the team. This position will be responsible for conducting independent complaint investigations at various locations which are licensed by the Department and recording results through varied means (electronic data entry, oral communication, detailed written reports and photographs). Regional day trips of 30%-60% will be required. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Written and verbal communication; applying investigative rules, policies and procedures relating to program non-compliance; developing professional relationships and effective interpersonal relationships; using computer hardware and software to transmit inspection results A medical/physical evaluation is required prior to appointment. *All newly hired employees will be subject to the E-Verify Employment Eligibility Verification Program.
