It is a misconception that cover letters are dead and HR managers don’t read them anymore and now job seekers don’t take interest in writing a cover letter when they are applying for any jobs in Pakistan. Job seekers who think that cover letter is just a waste of time, should remember one thing that many employers read cover letters, although many not but still at the same time it is still exaggerated that employers don’t give preference to cover letters when they are hiring.

Keywords should be something which describes your experience, skills and characteristics. You should mention your accomplishments which set you apart from other candidates who have also applied for this job. Do your best in putting together all your experience and achievements that how you will be best for the job and as a whole for the organization. If you have done a research and written a thesis, then do mention it.
Cover letters also show your written communication skills which are highly the need of the time. Persuasive language should be used as it inspires a quick action. Your cover letter should be encouraging so the recruiters cannot stop themselves to give you a chance. You can close your letter with whether they want to schedule an interview.
People who write cover letters shows that they are more reliable and actually took an effort in writing letter and how serious they are about this. It shows that they actually cared enough. So it is advisable that you should write one too and give a solid impression.
