How & Why – Is Important To Put Your Candidates At Ease Before Interview

250-250-IT-ProfessionalEveryone got nervous before their interview for any job in Pakistan and it does not matter how skilled or confident a job candidate is, as it is something common for anyone in this state. This nervousness can make you to lose an ideal candidate because if someone is feeling nervous then obviously he will not be able to give his best shot.
So it’s really important to put your candidate at ease and here are some tips which can help you in this regard
It’s important to greet candidates and if it is possible try to escort every candidate to the interview location as it build up their confidence and they feel at ease. Start your interview with low key questions like how they are and actually how they heard about this job in Pakistan opening. It’s really important to give candidates your full attention. There is no need to show a bossy attitude at the right spot.
Give your candidates undivided attention- it is recommended that you should turn off your cell phone as it is frustrated and actually annoying (but they cannot say it) for candidates that while they are trying to answer your question, your phone keeps ringing.
As an employer your duty is to find the best of the candidates and it may sounds easy but many HR managers struggle hard for this, so plan your questions before hand and try to ask specific and reasonable question from your candidates. Try to measure their strength and weakness while getting an insight idea as what they think about and will do in some specific circumstances.
There is no harm in asking creative questions but it will be more good if you ask them about their past experience and accomplishments. It will motivate them to share their stories as well as you will be able to know about their caliber and can make a decision about their hiring.
It is important to end the interview on a positive note and even that candidate is not a good fit for this position; thank them and let them know that you will contact them later. If you think that he is definitely not a good fit for this job in Pakistan then it’s important to let them know as soon as possible. Try to be professional as they might not be good for now but they might be perfect for any future position.
